Stamped concrete is our most popular decorative option. The process involves pressing textured mats into freshly poured concrete to create patterns that closely replicate natural materials. We offer dozens of stamp patterns including ashlar slate, flagstone, cobblestone, brick herringbone, wood plank, and tile designs. Combined with integral color or color hardener in earth tones, reds, grays, and custom blends, the results are remarkably realistic.

The stamped concrete process requires precise timing and skilled application. After the concrete is poured and screeded to the correct level, we broadcast color hardener across the surface to create the base color. A liquid or powder release agent is then applied to prevent the stamps from sticking and to add a secondary accent color that highlights the texture. Our crews press the stamps into the surface while the concrete is at the right consistency, creating deep, defined patterns. After curing, we wash the surface and apply a high-quality sealer that enhances the color and provides protection against UV fading, staining, and wear.

Colored concrete is another option for homeowners who want a uniform, solid color without the stamped texture. We use integral color mixed throughout the concrete or surface-applied color hardener to achieve consistent, long-lasting color. Popular choices in Arizona include desert sand, terracotta, buff, and warm gray tones that complement Southwestern architecture and desert landscaping.

Stained concrete transforms existing or new concrete surfaces with translucent, variegated color that penetrates the surface. Acid stains react chemically with the concrete to create unique, marbled effects in earth tones, while water-based stains offer a broader color palette including blues, greens, and bold accent colors. Staining is an excellent option for refreshing existing concrete without the cost of removal and replacement.

Exposed aggregate is a decorative technique where the top layer of cement paste is washed away after pouring to reveal the natural beauty of the stone aggregate within the concrete. The result is a textured, slip-resistant surface with visual depth and character. We select decorative aggregate blends that complement your home’s color scheme.
